THURMONT, Md. (WJZ) — National Park rangers found a new little helper inside a pool in Catoctin Mountain Park.
The park rangers were getting the pool up and running when they spotted the Eastern Milksnake in the empty pool.
After snapping a picture, they took the snake back out to nature.
Eastern milksnakes are not venomous or otherwise dangerous to humans — except for maybe spooking us out a little bit.
